Welcome to The Vermont All-Terrain Vehicles Sportsman's Association, Inc. (VASA) web site, your portal to ATV recreation in the great state of Vermont.

VASA is the statewide association of local ATV clubs, authorized by, and in partnership with, the State of Vermont to develop and manage ATV trails in Vermont.

Please see our News section for ATV news from around the state, region, nation and globe!

VASA is dedicated to developing, promoting and conserving responsible family-based ATV recreation in Vermont, and is providing ATV trail access through leadership, land stewardship, partnerships and collaborations with other user groups and landowners.

VASA, through the local clubs and in collaboration with local, State and Federal land managers is working to develop and manage a state-wide ATV trail system of corridors, links and local trails, for the enjoyment of Vermont's families and guests.

You can help VASA by joining and becoming active in your local club, practicing good ATV ethics and trail safety, and by presenting a good image of our sport each and every time you ride.

VEST Safety Course Update!
There will be a total of 5 VEST courses located throughout the state this spring. We are currently working on dates and locations.Keep an eye out because courses will fill up quickly this year! Don't forget that EVERY operator under the age of 18 needs a safety certificate... the fines are nearly $400!!! Don't risk it! This year we have changed the registration process in an effort to make the class more accessible for everyone. We are no longer doing in-person registrations- now we are asking parents to register their student by calling the VASA office at 802-477-5075 or emailing at office@vtvasa.org and then we will mail the materials out. You must register before the deadline date to participate in a class. At home study and homework completion are mandatory! Call or email for more info or to register!
Here's what we have so far, and please check back regularly for further dates and locations:

  • Barre Vermont:
    Registration deadline is May 11.
Course: May 26 at 9:00 am
Location: VASA Headquarters: 14 Don Camp Drive, Barre VT.

Contact the VASA office by phone at 802-477-5075 or email at office@vtvasa.org to register. PRE-REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY!
